Key Responsibilities

Attend health fairs and other communities as a Red Cross representative (one or two health fairs a month recommended)

• Make arrangements to gather materials needed for the fair and return left over supplies back to the Chapter
• Stay informed on upcoming fairs and events
• Interact with public in order to inform them about disaster preparedness, blood donation and volunteer opportunities

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interact easily with the general public
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Knowledge of Red Cross programs and services
• Must be a team player and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a volunteer environment
