Description & History

SEPA VOAD coordinates planning efforts and, during a disaster, matches community needs with services provided by member SEPA VOAD agencies. This cooperative effort is an effective way for a wide variety of organizations to work together in a crisis.

SEPA VOAD organizations are currently responding to recent flooding from Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.  To learn more about services we offer, visit Disaster Recovery Centers in Philadelphia, Chester and Montgomery County.  Locations can be found by contacting your county department of Emergency Management.  For this response, SEPA VOAD organizations are providing clean out and repair/rebuilding work to residents.
